USE RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY IN YOUR HOME.

If possible, get rooftop solar on your home to produce your own renewable electricity. If rooftop solar isn’t feasible, see if your utility provider offers renewable energy options — many do! Some areas also have options to support community-supported renewable electricity (where you co-own solar panels located nearby).

If you can’t go solar, or while you’re working on it, other good options are to replace the fossil machines in your home with electric ones, and to save energy at home. Rewiring America has a great guide to electrifying your home.
